Aurora Farm is located in an untouched rainforest. In addition to farm management that takes into consideration the rich natural environment, owner Aldo says that a future focus will be on micro-lot production of a wide variety of coffee in small quantities. In the farm's experimental farm, varieties such as Maragogype, Pacamara, SL28, and Geisha are grown, and research is being conducted on the optimal production method for each variety. Most varieties have already completed the testing phase, and harvesting and sales have begun as micro-lots.
Furthermore, they subdivide the refining method for each variety and divide the lots, making it possible to realize the various requests from roasters. The most important thing is the feedback from the roasters. Their attitude of trying to create something that matches the Japanese market from next season onwards is very encouraging.
