CAFEC Coffee Filters for Different Roasting Levels
This filter is recommended for those who think that any filter will do.
Brewing coffee is difficult. Even though I brew it exactly as I was taught, it doesn't taste the same. I'm sure there are many people who have the same question. Unlike professionals, it is very difficult to adjust the brewing method depending on the type of beans, roasting method, and environment. That's why this paper filter focuses on the degree of roasting, and we challenged ourselves to change the extraction efficiency by changing the structure of the filter to get a taste close to that of a professional.
Characteristics of light roast : high moisture content, hard beans, little bulk, quick extraction, and less flavorful.
● Extract slowly and carefully. Recommended temperature: 92 degrees
Characteristics of medium roast : There are many well-balanced beans. It is important to extract all the goodness in a balanced way. The speed at which the hot water is poured and the speed at which the coffee falls into the server are adjusted so that they are evenly distributed.
● Extracts well balanced coffee. Recommended temperature: 90 degrees
Characteristics of dark roast : Bitter, full-bodied, bulky, less acidic, prone to over-extraction, burnt aroma, bitter. It is important to speed up the extraction efficiency to bring out the full-bodied and sweet flavor, but not to over-extract it.
●Extract only the delicious parts. Recommended temperature is 83 degrees, or 90 degrees if you want to bring out the bitterness.
