[Farm Information] Yirgacheffe is known as the region that produces the highest quality beans in Ethiopia, the country where coffee originated. In the local language, it means "swamp and its grass." Yirgacheffe has a large temperature difference between day and night, and produces coffee with a very high flavor. ● Rated G1
In Ethiopia, coffee beans are graded according to their quality, from the highest grade G1 to G9. These grades are determined by the number of defective beans per 300g of coffee beans. The G1 grade has 0 to 3 defective beans per 300g. This Yirgacheffe is rated G1 and is kept in a temperature-controlled warehouse all year round to maintain freshness.
